關於死亡的歌。

水的意象在很多文化中都跟死亡有關聯性， 死者在這裡洗清身上的罪惡，從這裡前往冥府。

"Past the black where the sirens sing"
大多數人對塞壬（Siren，也翻成賽蓮）的印象都是在海上勾引水手的女妖，記載上她們是用歌聲引領亡者靈魂前往冥府的使者，或許是這樣才有女妖勾魂的說法。海在一些海洋文化中跟河水一樣是送死者離開的地方，冥府就位在大海的盡頭。
